My Favorite subject

My favorite subject this semester is...

Macroscopic Structure of the Animal Organism (Animal anatomy)

Basically this subject deals with the contents about the anamoty of various species of animals, its pretty fun to learn and Professor Ricardo Olivares is very good at teaching, but the main reason why im choose this its because in a year wich we couldn't have any lecture, also in our first year of career, this was the first subject I studied and felt I was studying to be a Veterinary Doctor.

I have to mention that the other subjects have also included all their contents related to the career of Veterinary Medicine, including English wich despite being a language subject, Professor Ernesto Sanhueza always made us do activities in relation to what we are studying, but we had to choose one and the one that closer to the animals won! hahaha.

To finish with the idea I was devoloping earlier, I want to make an appreciation to the faculty teachers for the effort they have made last year to do classes on a platform that has never before used before and look for ways that would be as satisfyng as possible for students, especially with how difficult it is to do it through this platform.

Living conditions

I want to make a introduction before im gonna talk about the videos, im vegetarian and all that stuff but i dont have any problemas with people who actually eat meat. My resentment goes against people who make animals miserable while they LIVE, thats why i choose this 3 videos:

- Zoochosis is a pattern of behavior that commonly occurs in animals in captivity, i put this one because i can't like zoos, i know the purpose of them is cultural but i cannot accept to put a animal in a cage or a certain space for the rest of his life without any freedom.

- As I said earlier, i dont any problems with people who eat meat, my problem is the living conditions that are given to animals like in this video, live tight all your life in a small space just to be food, and the worst of all is the normalization that is still given to these practices.

- Finally, so that this blog was not so negative, I wanted to give recognition to this canil and the people who collaborate with it to make animals in street situation have a better life.

                                                          My favorite thing is...

Its actually a instrument, and its the Piano

I have it for like a year but its was always a desire, its my first one and its was a pleasure play it for several reasons, the most important is that I love music and everything related to it, helps me with stress and it's very satisfying when I can pull out a song.

I'm trying to practice at least two hours daily since I have it, but since the pandemic have passed days that I can't practice for the times I consume studying and space problems in my home, so whenever I have free time I use it to practice on the piano.

When I was a teenager I had a guitar, but due to an accident caused by my three years old niece it broke down and as I had no money at the time so I couldn't replace it with a new one, so I think if I didn't have the piano right now I would have an acoustic guitar, in fact in my future plans is to buy me one as soon as I have the money.

Thanks for reading, I hope you enjoyed it.

My Favorite animal

                               The Coati

Hey everyone, im going to tell you a history about this animal and how became my favorite:

When i was 10 years old i travel with my mom to brazil for the first time in my life, and i met this little guy. I was fascinated at the time because he was so social with the people around him, tryng to steal food from the backpacks and some stuff like that.

Later some guards told us we cant give him food because its bad for his diet and can attract some predators, so our group have to let him go and dont interact with other ones. I was very sad at the moment but when i grow up, i understood the situation, althoug that dit not stop making me feel bad because its not his fault to be excluded, and like other animals, we put the them in a cage or ignore them their entire life.

I hope in the future we will change our way of relating to all species of this world, im not talking about tame them for our convenience like we did with the wolf for example, but risking ourselves to adapt to other species, and i think the coati may be one of the many species that can cause this change in us.
